These spools are made of polyester binding wire, resistant to mechanical constraints. The thread is coated with kerosene, it is called "suifé" or "poissé". Therefore, it is very easy to knot and sew and does not unravel. Particularly recommended for quilting, overbinding, sail repairs or leather sewing.

However, Dyneema thread is more suitable when there is real mechanical stress or scratching on an overbinding or other seam.
