Plastimo's flat and elastic lanyards with 1 or 2 carabiners provide an impressive level of safety.
For the elastic model, a fixed 1 m (39") strand that can be extended up to 1.5 mm (0.4") and 1 or 2 double opening safety karabiners ensure that you are safe when you need to change tack. The flat lanyard measures 1.5 m for both models.
The polyester webbing is very flexible and has a reflective thread that has been sewn into the lanyard to make it easier to spot at night. When the Plastimo lanyard is subjected to too much load (e.
g. during a fall), the overload indicator is removed and a label appears indicating that the lanyard must be replaced.
The presence of an elastic band is an undeniable element of comfort since the strap is "shortened" for movement. Quieter and less restrictive to movement, the stretch lanyard is the model of choice for sailors who wear their harness regularly.
