The Plastimo straight aluminium fairlead is made of anodized aluminium, which makes it very resistant.
This fairlead will allow to guide a mooring line before it is fixed to the cleat. The fairlead allows the mooring line to slide in order to avoid wear and tear of the cleat and also to avoid damage to the hull's rubbing strip.
